2016 Heimark Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley   

The 2016 Heimark Cabernet Sauvignon is redolent of wild herbs, plums, cloves and star anise. Rich flavors of black cherries, chocolate and thyme are supported by the wine’s classical structure and fine grained tannins, resulting in a dense, inviting wine with great energy and lift. The lengthy finish adds seductive notes of cocoa powder, blackberry and slate. The wine is delicious now with decanting and is beautifully proportioned to reward aging for ten to twenty years. 200 cases produced
