2019 Lateral, Napa Valley   

Medium light ruby color with dusty rose edges. Light and inviting cranberry themes. Excellent Cabernet Franc aromas of dried tobacco leaf combined with ripe Satsuma plums. Hints of cocoa powder, cream and caramel lie underneath. Very complex and compelling nose; truly excellent. A perfect entry with medium-light mouthfeel and elegant texture but not too lean. Small scale, feminine structure. Super attractive Bordeaux texture of fresh mineral laden running water. Attractive oak and Merlot varietal notes appear in light finish.
