2016 Ryan Cochrane 'Fiddlestix Vineyard' Pinot Noir, Sta. Rita Hills   

A darker expression of the Sta. Rita Hills this vintage bursts into the glass with muddled strawberry, dried violets, cocoa bean, vanilla, and soft toasty oak. On the palate, dense notes of lingonberry and leather are rounded by rich notes of vanilla cream and toasty baking spice. The wine is completed by lush acidity and finish that goes on and on.
