2018 Hatcher Meritage Red Blend, Sierra Foothills   

The 2018 Meritage is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec and Petite Verdot. Dark red color verging on purple, hints of coffee, black licorice, and cherry. Dark rich fruit, big French oak, well balance. Hints of leather and a full finish would pair well with dark chocolate, but we love a good prime New York, right off the BBQ on Friday night. Perfect start to the weekend.
