2018 Hatcher Petite Sirah, Calaveras County
Jammy ripe fruit, flavors of raspberry and balanced with acidity in the front of the mouth. Dark blackberry and rich American oak. We commented the wine is varietally correct, a Petite Sirah that tastes like a Petite Sirah. The finish is long with medium tannins. Heavy toast. American Oak has become Hatcher's tradition with Syrah and Petite Sirah.
