2022 Pride Mountain Vineyards Cabernet Franc, 375ml, Sonoma County 375ml   

This wine has lovely aromas of strawberry, raspberry and other red fruits, as well as a plethora of floral nuances including jasmine, violet and lily of the valley. Subtle notes of eucalyptus, cloves, crushed leaves and peppermint add complexity and play to the flavor profile. On the palate, the 2014 Cabernet Franc is round and rich, with tannins that are mouth-coatingly present but not aggressive. For this vintage, we have blended in slightly more cabernet sauvignon than we typically use, for a total of 11% of the blend. The cabernet sauvignon adds a bit of size and structure to the mouth. We have also used 8.5% merlot to enhance the lush, ripe fruit character.
