Domaine Ciringa is a “new” venture from Weingut Tement, one of the world's premier producers of Sauvignon Blanc. “Ciringa” is the Slovenian name for Zieregg, the Austrian Grand Cru vineyard that the Tement family has been farming since 1959. When third-generation farmer Armin Tement joined his father, Manfred, in 2005, they made a decision to replant vineyards on the Slovenian side of the Zieregg vineyard – the border between countries running straight through the vineyard!
