2021 Harper Voit Surlie Pinot Blanc, Willamette Valley

2016 was an warm and lovely vintage in the Willamette. The intersection of the quality of the fruit and the quantity grown has no analogue in modern Oregon wine history. As a result, we were able to experiment with multiple vineyard sites and continue to explore what pinot blanc is and does in this valley. The 2016 Harper Voit Surlie Pinot Blanc, sourced from two vineyard sites, is barrel fermented in used French oak and aged on lees. The fruit quality of the wine is bright, accompanied by laser-like acidity, a savory, complex palate and a lengthy, saline finish.
