Sourced from an old-vine vineyard just over the Napa County line on the backside of Mount Saint Helena, our Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon continues to produce a complex wine. Ruby red color on the edges quickly plunges into a dark crimson. Fresh-crushed bright raspberry, dark plum, and black tea leap from elevated aromatics. On the palate this wine pulls no punches. A weighty, expressive mouthfeel shows structure and complexity across the tasting experience. Chewy tannins frame notes of dark cherry, sandalwood, blackcurrant, and dried herbs de provence. The depth of the midpalate creates a runway for a long, seamless finish.
