2022 Domaine Prieur-Brunet, Santenay-Maladiere 1er Cru   

The wine comes from the village of Santenay where the spring is a source of the highest limestone concentration in Europe. “Maladière” is located above the spring. Its name comes from “Malades” and is particularly sunny and peaceful. This beautifully exposed vineyard produces fine red wines with flavors such as raspberry or blackcurrant, Aged in oak barrels for 16-18 months with 25% new oak. No fining and no filtration at bottling.
