2023 Sandlands Zinfandel, Lodi
The 2022 Zinfandel Kirschenmann is a bit richer than most years, but that's not a bad thing. Pliant and generous, the 2022 is super-expressive. Succulent red cherry, cedar, pipe tobacco, incense and licorice build effortlessly in the glass. There's terrific textural resonance and creaminess to support years of fine drinking.
