2018 Baron De Magana Red Blend, Navarra, Spain   

The 2018 Barón de Magaña is a red blend produced with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah from their oldest vineyards, looking for a fresher wine that expresses the limestone soils from their vineyards. It fermented with indigenous yeasts and had a short maceration at no more than 28 degrees Celsius. It matured in second use French oak barrels for 12 months. It has a bright ruby color and an expressive nose of berries and herbs, very spicy and with a medium-bodied palate and polished tannins.
