2021 Presqu'ile 'Sanford and Benedict Vineyard' Pinot Noir, Sta. Rita Hills   

This bottling from this historic vineyard picks up the terroir of the site quite well. It's bold, rustic and earthy on the nose with crushed rock, tarry soil, dried herb and intense blackberry aromas. The palate adds dried meat, cracked pepper and boysenberry to the mix, and will be exciting to watch evolve. Drink now–2041.
