About This Wine:
Tasting Notes:
COLOR: Light pink onion skin
NOSE: Wraparound with hints of white peach, mineral development pleasant and good feeling.
MOUTH: Great finesse and character.
Dark crimson in color, there’s immediate appeal to the nose combining the classic Occidental/Freestone elements of pomegranate, cut hay, lavender and sweetgrass.
Sauvignon Blanc from Rheinhessen, Germany; light plus bodied and dry with notes of crisp green bell pepper, white grapefruit, clementine zest, lanolin, and minerals, with medium plus acidity, a spritzy texture, and a long citrusy finish.
The white wine that comes from this most noble of reds is a whole world unto itself – a kingdom of sainted stone fruit, but which ones? Of the most acid-driven whites, but from where does the beautifully rich texture come? This is the wine to try blind, the one from which to jettison preconceived notions of what white wine should be and surrender to the gorgeousness that is THE organoleptic parade.
