Crus: 10 different crus located mainly in the South and North areas of the Montagne de Reims – including the famous Côte de Bouzy – notably from the finest crus of Ambonnay, Bouzy, Louvois and Tours-sur-Marne.
The grapes from carefully selected plots are sorted and destemmed before vatting.
Brut Rosé 1er Cru:
• Aged minimum 42 months on the lees before disgorgement
• Completes malolactic fermentation
• Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, and all but 6% of Pinot Noir is direct press
• Current disgorgement: November 2018
• Vintages in the current disgorgement: 2014, 2015
• Dosage: 9g/L
It is at the foot of the vineyards of the old Chateau Clos de Citeaux
that takes place this Domaine, in the heart of the village of Meursault.
